Valentine’s Day
I actually don’t mind Valentine’s Day coz usually my mom makes me heart-shaped pancakes with strawberries and my dad gives me chocolate and a stuffed bear and tells me how pretty and perfect I am. But because both my parents dont live in this country anymore, I just had a protein shake for breakfast and went to work sans chocolate and sans stuffed animal. i didnt even add strawberries to give it a little valentine’s color. just white - the color of my empty soul on this god-forsaken day.
i think i’ll go to a Riot Grrrl tribute concert tonight.
Anyways…HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY TO YOU ALL!!! enjoy this day that has no meaning except another excuse for marketers to make money off cheap trinkets.
